March 7, 2017: DEJI OLUSANYA FOUNDATION received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service granting the Foundation exemption from Federal Income Tax under Internal Revenue Code IRC Section 501(c)(3). This means donors can deduct contributions made to the Foundation under IRC Section 170. The Foundation is also qualified to receive tax deductible bequests, devises, transfers or gifts under Sections 2055, 2106, or 2522. This exemption was backdated to August 23,2016, the day the Foundation was incorporated.
August 23, 2016 (effective date): DEJI OLUSANYA FOUNDATION recognized as a PUBLIC CHARITY under IRC SEction 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) by the U.S. Internal Revenue Service.
August 23, 2016 (effective date): DEJI OLUSANYA FOUNDATION incorporated as a Non-profit Organization by Texas Secretary of State.

Saturday, September 30, 2017: Deji Olusanya Foundation Victims Fund Award in the amount of $2500 to the parents of Phabion Runnels, an 11 year old boy killed by an accidental gun discharge in his home in Dallas, TX on December 9, 2015.
